Originally commissioned by Orion network systems, such as Orion 2, the contract was subsequently terminated. It was purchased by satellite called Eutelsat RESSAT freely, which was later renamed Eutelsat W1 Replacement Cable is compatible with its earlier momentum spacecraft, W2 and W3.
