1:43 pm - HP Jornada 560 Firmware Update / Pocket PC 2002 Service Pack Available Now!

Wow, a lot of stuff happening in PDA-land today… HP has released a Firmware Update and Pocket PC 2002 Service Pack for the Jornada 560 series today. The Firmware Update is available here:

While the Service Pack is available at this URL:

The firmware update fixes audio issues (that noisy popping…) and button usage, while the Pocket PC Service Pack adds improved PPP support, improved WAP viewing, better SMTP support, and more. HP recommends that you install the Firmware Update FIRST, then the Service Pack.

A quick look out at the MobilePlanet (http://www.mobileplanet.com) website showed that most if not all of the HP Jornada accessories promised at the device launch several months ago are now available for purchase. Among the goodies you can buy:
